A festival where to talk about visual magazines, the power of images in communications, new languages. Again, it will be possible to meet the editorial staff of international magazines at work, flip through about a hundred titles from the best creative publishing and webzine. ORIZZONTE VERTICALE/3

FEFÈ Project è lieta di invitarvi a ORIZZONTE VERTICALE 3, venerdì 9 Luglio ore 19.30, in via Barberini, 60. Terzo appuntamento per il clash che, ogni due mesi, vede sfidarsi alcuni tra i più importanti esponenti della scena urban art nazionale ed internazionale. A salire sul ring, questa volta, JBRock e Hogre che si affronteranno nel “foyer” del famoso STUDIO ORIZZONTE, dei fotografi Antonio Barrella e Vitaliano Lopez. Due artisti, due pareti, un solo match. I pannelli antistanti l’ingresso dello studio fotografico, alti 5 metri e larghi 3, diventeranno delle vere e proprie tele su cui gli artisti realizzeranno live le loro opere. I lavori resteranno in esposizione per i prossimi due mesi, fino alla sfida successiva, trasformando il "foyer" dello studio in una galleria a cielo aperto. Nato da un lavoro di ricerca ad opera della redazione del mensile Next Exit Creatività e Lavoro, “ROMA CREATIVA” raccoglie ed organizza i contributi artistici e culturali dei protagonisti più interessanti della scena capitolina e non solo. E' una guida un pò irriverente e molto divertente che mescola l'originalià delle notizie trovate con una sperimentazione grafica e visiva mai vista in una guida turistica. Dalle 19 la musica di RADIO FEFE' invaderà il giardino del Circolo, divenendo colonna sonora dell'happening di “Nella Capitale delle Meraviglie”, progetto curato dagli artisti HOGRE e PSYCHOLAB: una rivisitazione in chiave contemporanea dei personaggi del celebre romanzo di Lewis Carroll, effettuata nell'arco di tutto il mese di Giugno, tramite la diffusione caotica outdoor (poster, stencil e stickers nei quartieri di San Lorenzo e Pigneto) e indoor (sul web) di immagini che li raffigurano, con l'intento di indagare le origini e le conseguenze della crisi d'identità che caratterizza l'individuo nella società odierna. Domenica 18 aprile alle ore 22.00 Fefè Project entra nell'evento "Cromatismi sonori", musica e pittura dal vivo negli spazi del Lanificio 159 a Roma. Lo fa con "B-side forniture" allestimenti d'autore per occasioni eccelenti. Fefè apre le porte della "sala laterale" e ne arreda gli ambienti con le sue copertina magnum, lampade ed oggetti a tiratura limitata. Spazi free entry free exit per i cultori dell'arte urbana. Cromatismi sonori andrà in scenda dalle ore 22.30 fino a tarda notte. Live musicali e performance artistiche di artisti eccellenti con: il musicista argentino Javier Girotto (tra i fondatori degli Aires Tango), Andrea Sampaolo pittore di opere astratte di grandi dimensioni. From March 5th to March 7th FEFÈ Project, Radio FEFÈ and Desiderio will be guests of VISTA EYEWEAR in MIDO 2010 edition to present "MAD IN ITALY – THE MADNESS OF BEING THEMSELVES", the publication that FEFÈ edited and produced for the Italian optical Company. Non capita spesso di vederlo in giro perchè Boy Rocket oltre ad essere un ragazzo strano ha una missione: ogni tanto deve salvare il mondo. E va detto che Boy il suo lavoro lo sa fare, e lo fa con molta serietà: segue tutte le regole e rispetta il rituale. D'altra parte, questo strano figlio della mano di Massimo Giacon, autore di decine e decine di storie brevi per Frigidaire, Linus, Dolce Vita, Nova Express, Cyborg, Blue e XL, designer di oggetti per Alessi, artista e musicista, è un eletto. Per inciso, Boy salva il mondo ammazzando della gente un po' a caso. Ma è un rito sacrificale, il che è sempre stato cosa giusta, nella storia umana. FEFÈ Project opens in Milan, inside the calendar of initiatives of the review Corto Circuito, with an artist that has realized an artwork for the last number of FEFÈ Visual Magazine and a present artist in the next one: El Gato Chimney and Andy are two personalities to the extremities of the ample fan of the artistic expression. With works realized to hoc, they participate in the project Puzzle4Peace and they introduce the visitor in the artistic mood of FEFÈ. This is the first wedge of a collaboration with the visual Italian magazine devoted to an international public. EVERYTHING IN 1 NIGHT IED ROME 9/10th MAY 08

FEFÈ participates to EVERYTHING IN ONE NIGHT, the marathon of 12 hours organized by IED Rome. This is the 4th edition in which 300 students coming from all over the world will develop together a project knowing the briefing just before starting. The FEFÈ crew participates to LPM (Live Performers Meeting) with a performance of Vjing and sound design. In about four days (from the 20 to 23 September) it has been possible to see the shows of over 300 video-performers coming from all over the world. During the event LPM, the FEFÈ crew took a Sound Design workshop in which students interviewed all people around asking opinions about the theme "It wasn't planned"; the subject of the new year FEFÈ Visual Magazine#5 that will be in all the best libraries from January 2008.

DIALOGUE ABOUT MODERN ART BETWEEN FEFÈ AND ANGELO CAPASSO

Tuesday the 17th of May, on 18.30 at IED Arti Visive, via Alcamo 11, Rome, the critique and curator Angelo Capasso, author of “Opere d’arte a parole”, just published by Meltemi Editore, meets FEFÈ and the vast world of image production. A cultured dialogue is born about the sense of Contemporary art today, about the potential of visual expression and bias that keeps the artistic production from the mass. The idea given by the artists that tell their creativity in Capasso’s book provides, dealing with FEFÈ, a key for the interpratation of the phenomenons of our times.

PRESENTATION OF FEFÈ VISUAL MAGAZINE #2 AND SPECIAL ISSUE: ROMA+FELLINI (FEFÈ #2+)

On Tuesday the 3rd of May at 18.00, at IED Moda Lab in via G. Branca 122, Rome, the presentation of the new FEFÈ will be held. “Where do you want to go? As far as possible” is the dialogue that inspirated the 25 visual artists, the child and the writer for the realization of their work of art. As usual, in this issue the news anticipate the works: short funny news, unpublished, about attuality or customs. Among them a never before seen novelty: 4 pages drawn by Riccardo Mannelli depict Silvia Baraldini that, in a pair of sentencies, ponders about the will to go as far as possible. On the present occasion it will be presented also the first issue of FEFÈ special (FEFÈ+). The work is the official catalogue of the “Roma+Fellini” exhibition embedded in the catalogue of “FotoGrafia”. Another novelty of #2 is a supplement CD with 10 musical tracks inspired by the same theme.
